Our own results May10,2008 Received a 2nd in heat and 4th in the Main. Off 3 weeks. May 31,2008 Unable to attend. Rear end leaking. June 7,2008 Qualified 8th. No Heat Races due to rain! Started 10th finished 8th in the Main. June 14,2008 Received a 4th in the heat. Car was handling the best so far this year! Seven car crash in the Main, we had a DNF. June21, 2008 Qualified 13th and finished 6th in the heat. Started 13th in the Main and finished 6th. This race was the most exciting so far! June 27,2008 WE FINALLY MADE THE DASH! Quailifed 6th and finished 6th. We recieved a 4th in the heat. In the Main started and finished 6th. July 5,2008 Lots of visitors from Jefferson Speedway,Wisc. Quailified 22nd. WON the 1st Heat. In the Main finished a 13th. July 12, 2008 All American Sportsman Class Off. July 19, 2008 Qualifed 7th. WON the heat race. Started 7th in the Main and finished 6th. She's getting closer! July 26, 2008 Qualified 8th. Finished 5th in the 1st heat, and in the Main finished 9th. August 2, 2008 Had a really exciting night! Our sponsors from Selga Automotive, Carol Stream, Il. and the guys from Napa Auto Parts, West Chicago, Il. all came out and cheered us on. We qualified 6th. Made the TROPHY DASH with a 5th place finish. We finished 4th in the heat and in the Main we recieved an 8th. August 9, 2008 Almost a repeat performance! Qualified 6th. Made the dash and finished with a 6th place. In the heat we finished in fourth. In the Main we ended up finishing 7th. August 16, 2008 Qualified 7th, dissappointed didn't make the Dash. In the Heat finished with a 7th place. In the Main was very happy with a 5th place finish. NO RACING UNTIL SEPTEMBER 6TH. September 6, 2008 Quailifed 5th with our best time ever 14.84. In the Trophy Dash we finished 6th. In the Heat 02 we finished with a respectable 4th place, but in the Main we finished 4th in between #14 Nason (our Champ) in the front and #35 Behnke behind. This was certainly the most exciting night for us the 2008 season at Rockford Speedway! This was truly a great season of racing. We are very proud of finishing the season with a 7th place in the points.

September 26th and 27th we entered the 43rd annual NATIONAL SHORT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP race. On Friday, we quailifed 13th. We then rec'd a 3rd in the heat, and in the A Main we finished with a 9th place. She stayed together for the full 43 laps. We did mess up the car's front end however the #99 crew and thanks to #35 Brock Benke (an awesome competitor) managed to get us looking good as new for the challenges on Saturday. Thanks to everyone for all your help and support! The food was supplied by one of our great sponsors "HOT SPOT HOT DOGS". Thanks to Chris and Nicole we definitly weren't hungry!! Your support is very much appreciated! On Saturday, we performed a little better. Qualified 13th. Okay, not so good! We won the Heat 01. But the best part was finishing 3rd in the Main! Fifteen Area Sportman cars started that race. Cars from all over, it was really exciting to be racing different tracks but after running a hard 50 laps the Rockford guys finished 1,2,3 and 4. I have met alot of new friends racing at Rockford Speedway this year. You have all been great! Thank you very much to my sponsors, crew, family, friends and co-workers for always being there!! And a special thanks to Rockford Speedway's crew for keeping us safe! You all have been very kind and supportive to your drivers and we do appreciate it. This year has truly been great! |
